Buy the book Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick banned from the Bullock Texas History Museum: Forget the Alamo: The Rise and Fall of the American Myth by Bryan Burrough, Chris Tomlinson, and myself is out from Penguin Random House.
The French piece is great. I’ve struggled for so long to understand MAGA, but the French piece is really Occam’s razor. Still don’t understand the necessity for all of the hatred, but he explains well the reason why Donald still enjoys so much support among traditional Republicans. His explanation also makes the boldly announced defections all the more remarkable.
Great links per usual.
